《Summertime Sadness》是Lana Del Rey2012年初发表的首张专辑《Born to Die》的第十一首曲目，歌曲是Lana Del Rey在美国范围首支电台打榜歌曲，对于吉他与键盘和弦乐的搭配，很容易便让听众联想到六七十年代的美国摇滚乐和迷幻剂，Lana Del Rey用其独特的音色把《Summertime Sadness》诠释的很到位，迷人而富有情感的低音，抑或是富有磁性的高音，不觉得冲突，反而美轮美奂。这是一个人的Summer，一个人的歌。用她在出道单曲《Video Games》中的一句歌词说，“Heaven is a place on earth with you.（有你的地方就是天堂。）”
这首歌的MV拍得挺有感觉，画面迷幻浓重，讲的是两个女生相爱了，由于世俗种种，其中一位自杀了，下了地狱。另一位开车看到她的灵魂，伤心欲绝也自杀了。两人在地狱中看到彼此，会心一笑。至于为什么地狱仙气缭绕很美丽。一句话：有你的地方就是天堂。
因电影《了不起的盖茨比》而让人熟知的歌曲《Young and Beautiful》同样出自于Lana Del Rey之口，同样震撼视听！
